Baby Room Update

The glider for the baby room finally arrived this week, so we now have our final piece of furniture!
We tried our best to stick to a musical theme for her room. Since we both love music so much we hope our baby girl will share this interest as well. My Godmother is a music teacher in Texas and was kind enough to send us an entire box full of decorative options to use! Thank you Aunt Kay!!

Space Needle

We had an amazing dinning experience atop the Space Needle. The food was excellent and the views were even better. We had the Space Needle's signature desert, the "Lunar Orbiter". Its the smoking scoop of ice cream pictured below. After all that, Jess topped off the evening with chili dog on the observation deck. As you can see by the picture, she was very excited!

35 weeks...

So we're now in the home stretch - 3 to 5 weeks to go! It is definitely true what they say about the last trimester. Yikes- is it March yet? I know I will miss our little one in my tummy when she's not there anymore, but I just can't wait to meet her. She has definitely picked out her favorite spots in my rib cage. She does not care so much for the left side, but man does she love to snuggle up tight on the right. I'm glad someone is comfortable.   ;-)

Updates

We are almost 34 weeks along now and the baby seems very big and very happy! My OB says I am measuring 2 weeks ahead of schedule! Brian and I have decided to change our baby girl's name after 3 months of calling her Cailyn. Stay tuned for that new info. We think it may be best to see her face before we decide what to name her for sure...
My sister Katy graciously offered to come up from Arkansas to Seattle to spend some time with me while Brian was traveling for work. I am so glad the trip worked out- we had an excellent time and were able to squeeze in some sight seeing and shopping. Thanks again Aunt Katy- we miss you!!
