Texas Baby Shower

We had a lot of fun at our shower in Texas last week. It was so great to see all of you- thank you for coming! And an extra big thank you to Brian's parents for putting it all together! They really went all out, from the decorations, to the beautiful cake, the amazing BBQ, right down to the presonalized due date M&M's. Everything was so wonderful!

Baby Cailyn - 23wks

Today we had another utlrasound appointment. However, today's was unique because they provided us with a few 4-D images. The first picture is both arms and legs. The second picture is ofcourse the head shot. The 3rd is Cailyn being really annoyed at this point and requesting no more pictures by throwing her arm over her face.

5 Months and counting...

 Although I am now getting closer to the 6th month mark, these are our 5 month photos. We took a few pictures on our Texas Thanksgiving trip and we are going to Arkansas in a couple of weeks, so we should have a lot of photos to share then. Cailyn's kicks are getting much stronger and Brian has really been able to feel her moving more lately.
Thank you to everyone for the baby gifts while we were in Texas. We can't wait to dress her up in her new little outfits!

Its Official

Her name is Cailyn Grace Elliott!
We are so happy to have finalized her name and spelling. Thanks for everyones input.

She's a kicker!

Cailyn has really started moving around quite a bit! I am anxious for Brian to be able to feel her kicking from the outside. So far it has just been me enjoying her tap dancing skills. We had dinner with 3 couples from our neighborhood this evening who are all pregnant with their first child as well. I love thinking about these babies all being Cailyn's future playmates! So far there is one girl and one boy baby in the group. The other couple's will be a surprise. This is such an exciting time making new friends.

The Name Game

We are pretty much set on the name. The question is down to the spelling (Caylen, Cailyn, Cailen). It could go any way at this point. Stay tuned!
